Odd, disturbed, slightly insane, strange, eccentric… all of these have been used to describe me at one time or another. I am 29 years old, and have been writing off and on for most of my life. I have a slightly skewed outlook on life, and I believe that’s a large part of what makes me a good writer. That of course is up for debate, what you find here may not be to your liking, to each his own.
I was born in Texas, but spent part of my childhood in New York, in a lovely suburb not far from NYC. I have however lived all of my adult life in Dallas, Texas. Probably the best state in the nation, then again… all Texans are trained to say that from birth, so that’s another opinion that might be a bit skewed. I am a person of strong opinions, though you have to get to know me and earn my trust for me to share them, and those opinions will no doubt come out in some of my writing. I have two wonderful muses, Kaylee and Washburn, yes, if you think those two names look familiar you are right, they are the names of two characters from one of my favorite TV Series of all time, Firefly. They are brother and sister, Washburn is an orange tabby and Kaylee is a calico tabby. They help keep me sane, and drive me to distraction, funny how that works.
I’m currently married to a wonderful man who puts up with all of my eccentricities without complaint… mostly. I’m blessed with a wonderful family and many friends who might as well be family.
